Rich mentioned to me today that my photos take a LONG time to load lately. The only thing I have changed is loading my pictures through blogger (instead of linking through flickr), so I will stop doing that and see if the speed goes back up. This means that the thumbnails that I post on the blog won't look as good (so click to see full sized), but hopefully will fix my problem. :) Keep me posted guys, if it's taking too long to load just drop me a comment or an e-mail. Thanks!
And while I am posting, I figured that I might as well post up some pics from today.
Granny J's post on reflections sparked my interest, and I spotted this one while eating breakfast, which overlayed "Caffe St. Michael" over Gurley street:
Some cool gradation in the parking garage:
We also stumbled upon a treasure trove of old newspaper printing plates on a wall downtown (Sadira has seen them I am sure, since they are right next door to her office). Almost all of them are from 1964.
Meat Prices:
Smooth Whiskey:
Good stuff!
EDIT: Catalyst brought to my attention that Granny J also did a post on these newspaper plates.

If those printing plates are in the alley behind Snap Snap, I think Granny J did a post on them some time ago.
indeed they are Catalyst! I will have to see if I can find her post. :)
Thanks for the heads up!
I've never noticed a problem with your pictures loading.
Good to know Mike. Maybe it's a browser problem. I'm pretty sure you are using Firefox(?), I will have to ask Rich what he is using.
Yes, I am using Firefox and I love it to death. My work computer uses "that other browser" and every time I go back to it I want to pull my hair out.
I'm using Firefox too - and consider it a zillion times better than 'that other browser'. I haven't noticed a problem with your pictures loading, but I have been having a LOT of problems with Blogger for the past 2 or 3 days - incessant error messages, driving me nuts!
x
OH...much faster loading today!! Damn...I haven't seen those at all (sigh) Now, I will have to look for them. You do know there's a speak easy under my building don't you??
Mike & Kitty - Thanks for the info!
By chance do you guys view through an RSS reader, or just navigate to the main page? That might also be a problem, since last time I looked I had over 50 photos on my front page. Yikes!
Chickenbells - they are across from your parking area, behind what I think would be sweet ceasar's.
And no, I didn't know about the speak-easy... still operational? If not is it accessible to take photos in?? :)
