An update on the first poster on this post. It would appear that the half-life of a graffiti poster is about 3 months (the second item in that post is currently untouched, and the third item has been painted over by the city):

Yes I did, Mr. Freeman....
I'll never forget the first time my friend (Brandon Freeman) played that game. He about shit his pants when the guard greets you the first time.
