Pic of the day

A little snail that was beautifully contrasting the graffiti wall where he had taken up residence:

Huh! I thought I left a comment, but it seems to be lost in cyberspace.. I said I love this picture...the snail looks so out of place on the vivid background and it would make a good jigzone puzzle.
Also, E. who was born here in 1940 is in love with your black and white of the treelined sidewalk on the plaza. He says it epitomizes Prescott to him:)
Had fun catching up on your posts as usual.
Graffiti pix and now your notebook of quotes..A future coffee table book?

That is a super photo.

SOLB - I almost passed the snail by. He was a small guy (about the size of a fingernail), but when I spied him I knew I had to try to capture it.

And tell E. thanks for the compliment on my walkway photo. It's kind of funny, because I was born and raised here too. I have walked the courthouse so many times that sometimes I forget just how novel it is, then out of the blue it will strike me just how great this little town is. :)

As far as a coffee-table book.... who knows? The last coffee table book I made turned out decent, but it was lacking a certain something that I have yet to identify. Once I figure that out I might give it another go.

Quilteddogs - Thanks!

Thanks Daly! :)

It was total luck that he happened to be hanging out for me.

That's a great picture! Fast shutter speed to freeze the motion?

Warren - Yep. Had to shoot at ~1/250th to keep him from blurring. :)
