What a great shot. I just love feathers, but I can't help but hear some grownups voice in my head telling me not to pick up feathers because they might have bugs. That seems so strange to me...
Melissa - you are entirely too kind. :) It was mostly luck, wish a small dash of perseverance to photograph something more intimate than a smokey lake.

Thanks Sadira. I was told the same thing as a kid, but choose to rebel. I totally touched this feather to point it the right direction. :)
Only a real photographer would capture a shot as perfectly as you captured this one. Nice work.
