Canoe made from disposable chopsticks

A Japanese man who was concerned about the waste of thousands of disposable chopsticks being thrown away decided to do something about it. Of course, the obvious thing to do is to build a canoe out of them, right? So he spent 3 months gluing together 7,382 chopsticks together into strips to form the canoe. He then coated it with resin (I'm guessing for waterproofing). The boat is to be launched in May for the first time.

See now...that's crazy! I would have built some luggage and taken a trip. A canoe?!?! ha.

I definitely wouldn't want to be the first one to try it out on open water...
