It's the end of the world as we know it

Or, maybe not as it turns out.

 

They turned on the Large Hadron Collider today. No black holes. But then again they haven't really started colliding anything yet, just shooting a beam of particles in a circle to verify the machine works. Here's hoping all goes according to plan. :)

ROFL! That site cracks me up...I ran across it a couple days ago while reading blogs.
Funny thing is it will always say nope...since the world will be destroyed and no one will be able to update the page. bum deal. HAHA!

Brandy - That is unless the theoretical black hole / strangelet matter is a slow-growing phenomenon. There there would indeed be enough time to update the page, and let the world know of impending doom.
