The car show

Some shots from the car show.

A Ford F100 pickup:

Like many owners, this man wanted to make sure his car was meticulously clean:

An HDR of a hot Chevy (me thinks it’s a Chevy anyway):

Leather straps for keeping the engine covers on?:

One cool paint job. This one really needs to be seen large:

Mildly modified coupe:

A detail shot of a Plymouth dash, with aftermarket tach:

It wasn’t all cars though, there was a guy showing off his painting skills. Check out this sweet surf board. Yeah, I’d totally ride that (in the ocean):

To see all the shots, check out the flickr set.

Nice photos but your absence was noted at the blogger gathering!

Catalyst - Indeed. If honesty were to prevail I would tell you I was hung over and at the movie theatre when it hit me that I had planned on coming to the meetup.

I'm not sure I would have been great company... :)

Jarart - Thanks! It's always fun putzing around, looking at old cars.

Your photos just get more and more amazing. Great work Tom.

Thanks Melissa. Most of the shots were chosen just because they didn't have a billion other people standing in them! :)

That's the problem with shooting car shows.
