Pic of the day

A closed-down restaurant on white spar rd (Falcone Cafe I believe?), split-toned in lightroom.

Nice photo. This place has been closed forever.

QD: Definitely for as long as I can remember. I wanted to snoop around to take pictures, but there are a LOT of no-trespassing signs posted... Oh well.

I believe you're right...I actually had fettucine alfredo there once. I can't believe you let a no trespassing sign stop you...then again, it's probably better not to get shot (we're still in the wild west for heavenssake!)

When we first moved to Prescott, there was a lovely buffet in that spot. You know, the kind of place where they carve from a roast for your sandwiches -- the kinda place where Chicago city pols used to grab a quick bite. Nothing fancy, but the food was very, very good in a plain down home way. I've forgotten what it was called.

Chickenbells: Normally the no trespassing sign wouldn't have stopped me, but due to copper basin construction, there was a police officer standing on the sidewalk within sight. I figured snooping can wait for another day.

GrannyJ: Wish it was still around! sounds like a delightful little joint!
